As project Art Director my responsibilities include:
-Directing the artistic vision for the game from the beginning.
-Working with producers in managing and tasking of day to day art tasks.
-Working closely with other departments to ensure open communication and collaboration.
-Insuring all art is thoroughly approved and is on brand with Marvel.
-Managing the art team, reviewing and giving feedback daily.
-Working closely with marketing team to ensure consistency and quality of the art.
-On occasion producing concepts and sketches for production art.
Collaborated with the Marketing team to produce our first icon.
Worked closely with Studio Art Director in developing the visual style.
Collaborated with Concept Art House to produce our final Splash/Keyart.
First major Facebook game released from Zynga Los Angeles. Started as a lead artist and eventually became a Franchise Art Director. Focusing mainly on 2D art style, processes and pipeline.
These early concepts helped define scale, proportions and stylistic cues for the units.
“Crime Boss” was a unproduced mobile game I art directed and helped produce at Kabam. In addition, several early art pitches I created at Zynga.
What would have been a “Cafe World” meets Star Wars game on Facebook.
Testing out different logo treatments and character renders. The painterly style was done in conjunction with Concept Art House.
Character 2D rendering style (In conjunction with Concept Art House), concept designs and App Store Icon explorations that I created.
Artwork showcasing the game for the App Store. Reveals the vision behind the environments, UI and the art style my small but talented art team produced.
Early visual development of City Ville.
Had the privilege in designing "The Kid", slight changes were made when the game was finished, but the signature cues remained the same.
Concept art I created for look development for unproduced projects at EALA. The casual Command and Conquer game was my first stint as Art Lead.
